Bethany Bible Studies

The Bible declares that faith without action is a dead faith (James 2:17-18). As a church we desire to be more than a classroom or learning center solely for the sake of learning. Instead we hope to be an equipping center designed to grow, strengthen, and train believers, then send them into our city and global community as ambassadors and agents of Grace (2 Corinthians 5:18-20).

The following are some of the Bible Studies or series at Bethany running at present to help Equip People, to Encounter God, and Engage Our City

 EQUIP Spring 2019

Wednesday nights, starting March 6 are two new EQUIP Classes that will run 5 weeks each. EQUIP Classes are designed to help equip people to grow deeper in faith, community, and ministry by taking a hands-on approach to different topics. This session will run from March 6—April 3 on Wednesday nights from 7-8pm. Classes are free! There will be two classes for you to choose from:

1. Gospel Conversations (meets in the Family Life Center) Some of us long to be able to share the Gospel of Jesus with those near us, but how? Beyond just giving over-simplified Gospel presentations, how can we engage others in a civil conversation that allows for back-and-forth dialogue, questions, and even helps build an appreciation for Jesus and His church?

2. Deep & Wide: Doctrine that Inspires (meets in the Conference Center) Some of us long to dive a little deeper in what the Bible actually teaches about some important foundations of the faith. Is the Bible fully true? Who is Jesus? Who is man? Growing deeper in some of the basic tenets of faith both help us grow deeper and also prepare us to be able to lovingly engage our neighbors and friends who have questions about the Christian faith.

Sundays in most of our Sunday Small Groups (9:45-10:30am)

The Bible is not a collection of stories. It is one story, the story of God’s plan to rescue His people from sin and death. It is the story of redemption, the gospel message of Jesus Christ... and it’s our story, too. The Gospel Project is a Bible study that invites Adults, Students, and Kids of all ages to dive deeply into God’s story of redemption through Jesus Christ.
