AMP Camp for Kids at Bethany

For the first time at Bethany Baptist Church, we are excited to host AMP Camp — a FREE one-day music camp for kids in our community on June 13th from 10am-2pm!

Students, from Kindergarten- 8th Grade, will have the opportunity to learn beginner guitar and vocal skills from members of our Worship Team in a fun, encouraging environment! AMP Camp is part of our annual Serve Our City Week, where we come together as a church to serve and invest in our community through impactful projects and outreach opportunities. A pizza lunch will be provided, and campers will also have the optional opportunity to help lead worship at church the following day!

If your child loves music, wants to learn something new, and enjoys having fun, we would love for them to join us!

What You Need To Know:

AMP Camp is for kids from grades Kindergarten-8th Grade.
Students who complete AMP Camp will be invited to join our Worship Team in helping to lead worship during our church service the next morning at 10am (June 14)!

AMP Camp Schedule (June 13):
-Arrive and Check In: 9:30-10am

-Pizza Lunch + Games: 12pm

-Camp Ends: 2pm

-Brief Parent Meeting: 2pm

Is this camp free?
Yes it is entirely free! This event is a part of Serve Our City Week, which is a week dedicated to serving our community through impactful events. Our goal is to spread the love of Jesus to our neighbors through every project💙
Does my child need musical experience?
No! This camp is open to all levels of experience, including beginners!
Does my child need to bring their own guitar?
No! While they are welcome to bring their own acoustic or electric guitars (not including toy guitars) if they own one, we will have instruments for them to borrow!
Are slots limited?
Yes, there are 15 slots available for vocals and 15 slots available for guitar. Make sure to register ASAP!
Are there age requirements depending on what they want to learn?
Yes!
Age Requirements:
Guitar: Kids who want to learn guitar need to be finishing 5th grade-8th grade
Vocals: Kids who want to learn vocals need to be finishing Kindergarden-8th grade
Is lunch included?
Yes! A pizza lunch will be included for all students. If your child has any food allergies or specific dietary needs, we recommend sending them with their own lunch and snacks to help ensure their safety and comfort.
What should campers wear?
They can wear whatever they are comfortable in! We will be indoors for the entirety of the camp, so whatever works best for them!
